Welcome to the NEW Puppy Ripples Website. As we are a growing family of furry friends, we felt it was time to update The Ripples website.

Here in the ‘Blog’ page will be information on:

  • how to know if you ready for a dog?
  • how to choose the best breed for you
  • responsible dog ownership
  • information on different breeds
  • the benefits of puppy socialisation

…and the list goes on and on.

Here we are our first blog instalment…and what a way to kick it off!!!

After a VERY busy Christmas & Easter season, with not much rest in between, my husband and I were desperate for a holiday & there was no way we were going without our beautiful girls. After searching for pet friendly accommodation, we came across this wonderful farm tucked away about an hour from Clanwilliam. (about a 3 ½ hour’s drive in total)

Enjo Guest Farm, is a beautiful guest farm as well as a sheep farm in the Biedouw Valley. It offers 2 chalets, a cosy cabin, camp site, and an annex, which is connected to the actual farmhouse. All of which is great value for money. We needed a break, so we ultimately wanted the most remote accommodation we could find, and we were not disappointed. Moritz & Andrea are wonderful accommodating hosts, who left their city life in Munich Germany, a couple of years ago, to start a farm life with their gorgeous family here (they have 2 absolutely cute kids Kilian & Ronja).

There is much to do : hikes, mountain bike rides, plane rides & horse rides. If you feeling a bit competitive there is a snooker table & if you want, you can go for a swim in 1 of the 2 dams. Or you can do absolutely nothing & just relax! So needless to say we had loads of fun & rest, but I must say our girls had the most fun!!! We think they are actually farm dogs deep down inside. They ran aroundeverywhere, smelling everything. Man, did they have an absolute fun weekend! My favourite part was when Lua and Mojo met the little baby lamb. They were so gentle with her…it made our heart’s melt..and want to get a little lamb..haha.

I would really recommend this place as a relaxing holiday destination. If you need a place to go, get out the city, and you want to take your doggies with you. Then this is where you want to go to…check it out: or call them on 027 482 2869
